Why Redoubt?
The Redoubt area is a part of Eastbourne in which we live. It is named for the fortress known as The Redoubt, which was built in 1805 as part of the coastal defences against a possible Napoleonic invasion.
In a second article reflecting on becoming seventy, I have been looking back on my working life and the theme that seems to link the diverse jobs I've done with a coherent theme - telling stories.
